Those were the days

I went out with my college friends one night. We went to the bar to have fun and to reunite. It’s been 8 years since we graduated from college. After graduation some of us got married to their long time boyfriend, like my friends Susie and Peter they got married months after graduation and they have a daughter named after me. They got separated 4 years after. Since Susie is a single mom she cannot afford to raise her child with her salary as a bank teller.
She visited me one day at the office. We talked about everything that has happened in our lives. She suddenly told me that she wants to sell jewelry. The jewelry she was talking about was their wedding ring. It was a diamond wedding ring. She really needed to put up a business of her own for the future of her daughter so she decided to sell old jewelry but she couldn’t find any store nearby that will buy for the amount that she wanted.
I told her to surf the internet. She sold her wedding ring for a higher price and of course from guaranteed jewelry buyers for 30 years. Every now and then I visited her in her new clothing store.
