There are many benefits of electric fencing. Firstly, electric fencing is quite economical and long-lasting than any other form of fencing. Humans will stay away from it, most of the times, and animals will avoid it after their first taste of electric shock; therefore, the chances of it getting damaged are relatively lesser. This helps in reducing the cost of maintaining it. 

The cost of running electric current is quite low and it is much cheaper than hiring several security guards to protect the desired area. Various components of electric fencing, such as, electric fencing posts, battery energizers, and others, does not cost a fortune. It also provides a person with complete control over the magnitude of electric shock. 

Secondly, it is also relatively safer. Fence Energisers convert power to short voltage pulses. After every voltage pulse, there is a delay of sometime during which no current flows through the wire. If any human or animal gets a shock, it will be for a short period of time and then he or it will be provided with enough time to stay away from the wire. 

Thirdly, figuring out any damage caused to the fencing can be easily judged. If a person feels that there is some problem with his electric fencing then he can make use of electric fence tester. These testers are applied to the fence and will let the person know, if the current is flowing or not. This saves time and is much efficient.
